Shannon Andreen
Shannon Andreen, PharmD, is a 2018 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy with a passion for mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. She enjoys creating hands-on learning experiences for interns and fostering their professional growth. She has trained and precepted students from multiple colleges of pharmacy in the community setting and earned a 2024–2025 Preceptor of the Year award from the U of MN.
Alex Glodowski
Hospital Pharmacist (Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire). IPPE Institutional Preceptor of the Year Nomination (academic year 2024-2025). APPE Acute Care Preceptor of the Year 2024.
Arianne Menze
Arianne has been a pharmacist at Cub Pharmacy since 2014, and a preceptor since 2020. She has precepted students on their Community IPPE, Community APPE, and Advanced Selective IPPE rotations. Her dual role as pharmacy manager and wellness pharmacist, incorporates a focus on Medication Therapy Management services in addition to traditional dispensing learning experiences within the community pharmacy setting.
Anjoli Punjabi
Dr. Anjoli Punjabi is the Director of Health Outcomes & Health Equity at MOBE, a health outcomes company. Anjoli’s areas of work include measuring and evaluating health outcomes, applying data-driven strategies to improve population health, and developing pharmaceutical care programs to optimize medication use. Anjoli graduated in 2017 with her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master's in Public Health from the University of Minnesota and completed the Pharmaceutical Care Leadership Residency, embedding two pharmaceutical care practices within Federally Qualified Healthcare Center clinics. Dr. Punjabi has worked with underrepresented communities across the Twin Cities to increase health equity. She is driven to improve medication use and achieve equitable health outcomes for all populations.
Andrew P. Traynor
Andrew P. Traynor is Professor and Associate Program Director, Experiential Education at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and is a Doctor of Pharmacy and residency program graduate from the same institution. Dr. Traynor’s teaching and professional work has focused on topics such as leadership, rural pharmacy and practice advancement. His work has been recognized through the receipt of an Innovations in Teaching award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the Excellence in Innovation Award from the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, and best manuscript award in leadership development from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Traynor served for 10 years as a faculty member at Concordia University Wisconsin including seven years as chair of the pharmacy practice department.

- Describe best practices for creating a positive learning environment for IPPE students.
- Articulate strategies for clear communication on student, site, and preceptor expectations
- Identify strategies for consistent student engagement throughout experience.
