What is the purpose of the BE ME program?

What kind of activities are a part of the BE ME program?

The BE ME program consists of a two-week immersion kick off as well as every other month programming and a capstone project. Activities may include breakout room, team building, discussions on creating safe spaces and setting boundaries, developing relationships, introductions to faculty/staff, community service projects, self-care, leadership activities, career exploration, identity formation, well-being, and much, much more. 

What can I expect as a part of the BE ME program?

You can expect to have fun and grow while building a supportive community with other first year students from underrepresented backgrounds. You will be asked to demonstrate vulnerability while truly embracing what it means to BE ME.

What are the benefits of participating in the BE ME program?

What is the time commitment?

Commitment to attend the 2 week immersion kick-off taking place daily Monday through Friday on campus two weeks prior to orientation and every other month programming throughout the academic year.
