For more than 130 years, the College of Pharmacy has been a leader in pharmacy education, practice and research. Today, our college includes the Occupational Therapy Program that has been helping people live their fullest lives and thrive for 80 years, and the Medical Laboratory Sciences Program whose graduates have played a crucial role empowering health care teams to diagnose and treat patients and manage their illnesses for more than 100 years.

Lyle & Sharon Bighley: Helping others further their education
Encouragement from Lyle Bighley's eighth grade teacher in a one-room rural schoolhouse was the reason he went to high school, pharmacy school and, ultimately, graduate school. When he was in graduate school, Lyle received financial help from an American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education Fellowship. This enabled him to complete his graduate studies. The Bighleys are grateful for that assistance and wanted to pass along that same sort of help to graduate students at his alma mater. Read more about the Bighleys
