Pharmacotherapy and Health Systems Minor

Pharmacotherapy focuses on the treatment of medical conditions with drug therapy. Knowledge of medications and disease states benefits patients, the healthcare system, and the broader population. This minor explores a variety of intersecting concepts such as health literacy, population health, pharmacoeconomics, and medication safety. This minor can complement a broad range of majors and provide students an understanding of medication use in the healthcare system, and it can also empower students to be engaged citizens and patients.

This minor is currently available to students on the Twin Cities and Rochester campuses.
