The Abul-Hajj and Hanna Award for Exceptional Graduate Student in Medicinal Chemistry is presented yearly to a student who is both a strong scientist and a strong departmental citizen.
The 63rd annual MIKIW meeting-in-miniature was held at the University of Iowa.
An IV formulation created by faculty at the College of Pharmacy for topiramate, an antiseizure medication used to treat epilepsy, was submitted via a New Drug Application to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in October 2025 and is pending review this year.
