Research in the College of Pharmacy spans a full continuum from concept to clinic, powered by researchers from across our departments.

We are committed to accelerating our research mission through three approaches:

Dr. James Cloyd

An IV formulation created by faculty at the College of Pharmacy for topiramate, an antiseizure medication used to treat epilepsy, was submitted via a New Drug Application to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in October 2025 and is pending review this year.
