One Program - Two Campuses
The OTD program at both performance sites (Twin Cities and Rochester) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
The OTD curriculum is delivered to students who attend class in Minneapolis and Rochester. Students from both locations share the same online coursework but attend in-person classes at their respective location. Faculty travel between locations to deliver laboratory and in-person class sessions. Each performance site has state of the art simulation spaces and equipment to support active learning on campus. Fieldwork sites and experiences are offered near each performance site and students have equal opportunity for fieldwork experiences across the state of Minnesota.
Faculty offices are located in both performance sites so that students have ready access to faculty in person or virtually.
Students choose one campus or the other for individual reasons, such as proximity to where they live, and the size and ease of navigating the campus and its metropolitan location.
