Who are Student Ambassadors?

University of Minnesota OTD Student Ambassadors are a select group of current first and second year students who are excited about Occupational Therapy and want to represent the College to others who are interested in our OTD program.

What do our Student Ambassadors do?

Student ambassadors hold an integral role in the admissions and recruitment of future OT students by hosting tours, sharing experiences at recruiting events, connecting with prospective students and more! You’ll see ambassadors at Preview Days, Visit Days, at recruiting events around the state of Minnesota, and more!

Become a Student Ambassador

Being a student ambassador is a great way to engage in a leadership role on campus with a manageable time commitment as you represent the OTD program. Through participation in the program, we hope students will gain confidence in public speaking, foster a sense of community on campus, and continue their service to others. This is a paid position and the application is sent to all incoming OTD students during the summer before they start classes.
