Mary Raphel Daniel

PhD student Mary Raphel Daniel’s fear of public speaking didn’t stop her from becoming the Judge’s Winner and People’s Choice Winner of the College of Pharmacy’s 2025 3-Minute Thesis competition. Her project, called "The Heart-Spleen Axis - A Tale of Two Organs,” focuses on the effect of chemotherapy drugs on the heart.

Dr. Lynda Welage, professor in the Department of Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology, is the recipient of the 2024 Harold R. Popp Award from the Minnesota Pharmacists Association.
