Establishing a network of professionals with whom you can connect provides opportunities to learn more about pharmacy careers. A well-established network can be useful for job searching as well. Use the Personal Branding Worksheet to craft a message and highlight the important points you want to share with any networking contact.
PharmD students can choose to pursue further training beyond their degree through pharmacy residency or fellowship programs. Pharmacy residency programs generally have a clinical focus with advanced training in direct patient care and practice management. Fellowships have either a research focus, or for industry fellowships, a focus on different functional areas within a pharmaceutical company, such as clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and HEOR.
