Jerrett Holdaway Awarded Male Contraceptive Initiative Travel Grant

March 18, 2024

Jerrett Holdaway

PhD student Jerrett Holdaway from Prof. Gunda Georg's lab received a $1000 travel grant from the Male Contraceptive Initiative (MCI) to attend this year's EFMC | ACSMEDI Frontiers 2024 conference in Utrecht, NL.

MCI's grant comes from its Success Program, which supports the career of any trainee interested in the field of male contraception and allows them to apply for funding to attend relevant professional development opportunities.

The EFMC | ACSMEDI Medicinal Chemistry Frontiers is co-organised as a collaboration between the EFMC, European Federation for Medicinal chemistry and Chemical biology, and ACS MEDI, the division of Medicinal Chemistry of the American Chemical Society. The 2024 edition will be organised in Utrecht, NL.

The Frontiers meeting series attracts a highly targeted audience composed of experts, researchers and early career trainees in drug discovery and development, in particular medicinal and synthetic chemists, together with scientists active in the fields of computer assisted drug design, biology, DMPK, pharmacology, and early toxicology.

Congratulation to Jerrett on this achievement, and thank you to MCI for their generosity!
