
Certificate in MLS/ Affiliate programs
Our MLS certificate is a post-baccalaureate certificate. The exception is students from our affiliated institutions: University of Minnesota: Rochester, University of Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State University- Mankato, St. Cloud State University, and University of Wisconsin- River Falls. Affiliate students will complete degree requirements on their home campuses and apply to the UMTC for the certificate program before they graduate.

Prerequisites for the MLS Certificate
- Bachelor’s degree, earned by program start
- GPA: 2.75 cumulative/ 2.75 prerequisite GPA
- All prerequisite courses below, complete with a C- or higher by the end of spring semester of the year you will begin the program

Application process
Apply for the MLS certificate through the Allied Health Centralized Application Service (AHCAS). Applications must be complete and verified by AHCAS by these dates in order to be considered:

*applications complete/verified by AHCAS after Feb 1 will be reviewed only if space remains in the program. Final deadline is April 1. |
