Yiyu (Gloria) Chen
Gloria started her PhD training in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in Fall 2019, after completing Master in Drug Development from James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati.
During her master’s education, Gloria focused on drug pricing and pharmaceutical economics. She studied the price trend of statins from 1991 to 2017 and the impact of the generic entry using data collected from Medicaid programs. She is also interested in health outcome research and drug safety
surveillance. Her overall research interests are to improve public health by post-market drug safety monitoring, developing strategies for preventing and controlling drug safety issue, and informing policies.
