This free online course is designed to increase the number of Minnesotans receiving MTM by increasing the number of pharmacists actively providing MTM. Introduction to Comprehensive Medication Management
Comprehensive Medication Management (CMM) is the standard of care that ensures each patient’s medications are individually assessed to determine that each medication is appropriate for the patient, effective for the medical condition, safe given the comorbidities and other medications being taken, and able to be taken by the patient as intended.
This course is designed to cover the key foundational concepts of CMM through a knowledge-based section and then an application-based section. In the first part of the course, you will find presentations and resources that explore the topics of philosophy of practice, the patient care process, and practice management. In the second part of the course, participants will apply pharmacotherapy knowledge and obtain feedback through case studies. More Information
