Continuing Professional Development
Continuing Pharmacy Education works with healthcare providers to create educational activities targeted to address gaps in knowledge, skills, strategies and performance. We leverage the expertise of faculty within the College of Pharmacy, other schools within the AHC and health-related organizations.
Our team of instructional designers, technologists, project managers, and other dedicated professionals provide a one-stop shop for continuing professional development in pharmacy. We offer a variety of CE courses and accreditation services. Our mission is to educate the healthcare team as a whole to improve patient outcomes. A presentation for pharmacists and providers who wish to learn more about factors that increase an individuals' risk of opioid overdose, identify signs and symptoms of opioid overdose, and understand the pros and cons of different naloxone formulations. View Naloxone presentation
A two-part, 20 contact hour hybrid course that provides background knowledge and hands-on training in the administration of immunizations. The next offerings starts July 15 and ends with a live session on August 16.

In support of improving patient care, University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
