Anthony (Tony) Olson
Tony Olson exemplifies the spirit of service, leadership and innovation that defines the University’s most promising alumni. Having PharmD and PhD degrees (Social and Administrative Pharmacy) from the University, Dr. Olson has distinguished himself as a patient-centered pharmacist and researcher and a dedicated advocate for rural health. Besides his significant professional achievements, Dr. Olson has been a strong supporter of the Pharmacy Alumni Society, and is a past president of the group. Born into a proud Gopher family, Dr. Olson’s lifelong enthusiasm for the University began at age seven watching Voshon Leonard on the court. Dr. Olson is the first College of Pharmacy graduate to receive the On the Rise Leader Award.
