Research Summary/Interests

My research interests center on the function of cell-surface proteoglycans and their shed counterparts in tumorigenesis (specifically multiple myeloma) and glycosaminoglycan-mediated interactions between microbes (both planktonic and biofilm) and host epithelial cells.
