Biography

Bio

Anthony W. Olson (he/him) is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and an embedded research scientist at the Essentia Institute of Rural Health. Dr. Olson's research advances understanding, development, and evaluation at the nexus of person-centeredness, practice-based research, and community-integrated health system approaches. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Foundation, and several large health plans. Dr. Olson has also served as the Speaker of the House of Delegates for the Minnesota Pharmacists Association and a national officer for the American Pharmacist Association - Academy of Pharmaceutical Research & Science. He has had outpatient pharmacy practice experience in Queensland, Australia; the Indian Health Service in the Navajo Nation; and continues to practice in outpatient settings at Essentia Health in Duluth, Minnesota.
