Why the University of Minnesota: UMN and CUHCC aligned closely with what I was seeking in a residency program. I was especially drawn to the program’s strong focus on ambulatory care across diverse patient populations, including individuals of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and languages. I also appreciated the emphasis on providing equitable, patient-centered care and addressing health disparities within underserved communities. The program’s commitment to interprofessional collaboration and community engagement further reflects the type of practice environment I hope to grow in as I develop into a clinician.
