Dr. Lucas Kosobuski, adjunct assistant professor and Dr. Keri Hager, professor and associate dean for clinical affairs at the College of Pharmacy are implementing a medication support team at the Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment (CADT) thanks to a two-year grant from the Victory Fund.
Dr. Olihe Okoro, co-director of community engagement and associate professor, built the foundation for a concordant mentorship program in the College of Pharmacy even before receiving a grant from the McKesson Foundation to fund the initiative. Working with an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) student, together they created a network of Black pharmacists across the state of Minnesota and initiated connections with Black student pharmacists.
As the College of Pharmacy celebrates the 25th anniversary of its Postgraduate (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program, the college community also celebrates a quarter-century of innovation, community and pioneering ambulatory care in Minnesota.
