  • Karen Bastianelli, BSPharm, PharmD, BCACP, was named an American Pharmacists Association (APhA) 2021 fellow and was recently selected as the 2021 Lawrence C. and Dolores M. Weaver Medalist.
  • Barbara Brandt, PhD, has been selected as an inductee into the Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
  • Paul Ranelli, PhD, MS, was the 2020 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Pharmacy Section of the American Public Health Association.
  • Mark Schneiderhan, PharmD, BCCP, has been selected as an inductee into the Academy for Excellence in Clinical Practice
  • Former faculty member,Doneka Scott, PharmD, MA, has been named the vice chancellor and dean of the Division of Academic and Student Affairs at North Carolina State.
  • Tim Stratton, PhD, RPh, FAPhA, has accepted the position of interim senior associate dean on the Duluth campus, upon the retirement of Mike Swanoski, PharmD, BCGP, FASCP.

In December, the college community came together to recognize the retirement of a number of individuals. We are incredibly grateful for their years of service and commitment to the mission of the University and the College of Pharmacy. We wish these individuals well in all their future endeavours:
