Alliance for Integrated Medication Management (AIMM)

AIMM is a non-profit organization working to support wide-spread adoption of team-based medication management services into the care of high-risk, high-cost patients suffering from multiple chronic health conditions. AIMM partners with health systems, community health centers, primary care clinics, community pharmacies  and other stakeholders committed to driving change in our health care system from the ground up by creating accountability for patient safety and health and improving quality of care.

The Center for Clinical and Cognitive Neuropharmacology (CCCN)

The Center for Clinical and Cognitive Neuropharmacology promotes interdisciplinary research investigating the interaction between individual patient characteristics and the effect of drugs on cognition.

Center for Cognitive Sciences (CCS)

The Center for Cognitive Science's primary mission is the facilitation of interdisciplinary research and teaching in cognitive science. The Center provides members with opportunities to share their insights on recent advances and develop interdisciplinary research collaborations.

Center for Leading Healthcare Change (CLHC)

The Center for Leading Healthcare Change offers leadership development for College of Pharmacy current students, alumni and practicing pharmacists. The center provides a national platform for developing pharmacist leaders and for leading change in both practice and policy.

Institute for Health Informatics (IHI)

The Institute for Health Informatics educates students and conducts research in the fields of biomedical and health informatics, focusing on the design, use, and evaluation of information systems that support and improve healthcare while protecting the safety and confidentiality of those who receive that care. It is an interdisciplinary endeavor that encompasses work in a variety of settings from tertiary care hospitals to specialty clinics, mental health facilities, community clinics, nursing homes, and home care agencies.

MedEdgeRx

A network of trained and credentialed  pharmacists in multiple practice settings throughout the state providing Medication Therapy Management to patients in need of assistance with their medications.  Care and services are delivered through face-to-face meetings with the pharmacist.  The goal is to help improve the proper use of medications, reduce drug-related problems and improve a patient's quality of life.

National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education

The National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is a public-private partnership that contributes to the transformation of health care by identifying ways to improve health, enhance patient care and control costs through integrating interprofessional practice and education. By rigorously aligning and integrating the needs and interests of health professions education with practice, the center aims to create a transformational “nexus” to incubate ideas, define the field, guide program development and research.

Natural Language Processing / Information Extraction Program (NLP/IE)

NLp/ IE is a team of investigators, postdoctoral researchers, programmers, and students who work together on natural language processing (NLP) for a variety of clinical and biomedical tasks. They use NLP/IE to process, extract, and encode information from unstructured biomedical and clinical texts, including clinical texts from the electronic health record. These techniques are then leveraged to support the invention of new healthcare and research applications and the investigation of healthcare interventions.
