Directed Study / Research

Under the direction of a faculty member, students may earn Directed Research or Directed Study credits for special projects. Directed Study at the College of Pharmacy follows University of Minnesota policy, which generally requires an average workload of three hours per week per academic credit.

The Occupational Therapist Centralized Application Service (OTCAS) is a national application to apply to most Occupational Therapy Programs in the United States.

The program is accredited for two performance sites, which include Rochester and the Twin Cities locations.  Students can request the environment that best suits their needs. Our hybrid instruction model allows for faculty to teach the same courses and content at both performance sites. Students typically come to campus for 2-3 consecutive days every other week for labs and 1-2 days per week for Level I fieldwork experiences at a location closest to their assigned performance site.
