New Chief of Operations for the Duluth Campus Named

Brittany Stampohar (Hartmann) has accepted the position of chief of operations for the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, Duluth campus, effective July 12, 2021. This is a new position for the College of Pharmacy and one that will add to the strong leadership team within the college. 

Brittany earned her BA and MBA at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and most recently held the role of brand manager and government relations liaison for the Associated General Contractors of Alaska. Prior to that she held roles in the Alaska State Legislature and the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development. Each of these positions helped her build a skillset that will benefit the college community. She brings political savvy, experience in complex systems, and a relationship-based approach to her work.

Brittany will primarily be responsible for the supervision, oversight, and vision/mission execution of the administrative operations of the College of Pharmacy, Duluth campus and its connection to the Twin Cities campus. In addition, she will work with leadership in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences (PPPS) to coordinate, support and oversee departmental activities. She will also support specific strategic, academic and administrative initiatives on the Duluth campus as well as supporting specific college-wide initiatives.
