Dr. Michael A. Walters Elected ACS MEDI Treasurer

Congratulations to Dr. Michael A. Walters, who was recently elected to the role of treasurer for the American Chemical Society’s Division of Medicinal Chemistry (ACS MEDI)! He will begin in the post in January 2026.
Dr. Walters is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and is a Senior Research in the Institute for Therapeutics Discovery and Development. His research focuses on synthesizing and characterizing novel compounds for treating memory loss and cognitive dysfunction.
We’re excited to see Dr. Walters take on this exciting opportunity and we’re looking forward to seeing all the great things in store for ACS MEDI in the next few years.
