Dr. Lynda Welage recipient of Harold R. Popp Award

Dr. Lynda Welage, professor in the Department of Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology, is the recipient of the 2024 Harold R. Popp Award from the Minnesota Pharmacists Association. This is the highest honor bestowed by the organization.
“I could not have been more surprised or honored to have received this recognition from MPhA,” said Welage. “I’m incredibly proud to be part of the distinguished group of people who have received this award before me.”
Established in 1969 in honor of the late Senator Harold R. Popp, the award recognizes one pharmacist annually for outstanding services to the profession of pharmacy.
Award winners will be recognized at the 2024 MPhA Annual Meeting & MTM Symposium in October.
