Dr. Joel Farley to receive APhA Research Achievement in Pharmaceutical Sciences Award

Awards will be given at annual meeting in March 2026

Dr. Joel Farley, professor and interim head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Care and Health Systems, and the Peters Endowed Chair in Pharmacy Practice Innovation, is the recipient of the American Pharmacists Association’s (APhA) 2026 Research Achievement in Pharmaceutical Sciences Award. The award recognizes and encourages outstanding meritorious achievement in any of the pharmaceutical sciences. It acknowledges contributions in basic pharmaceutical, clinical and economic, social, and administrative sciences. 

The APhA website recognizes Farley for “more than 150 peer-reviewed publications. spanning a number of disciplinary areas including pharmaceutical policy evaluation, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacy practice advancement, pharmaceutical outcomes research, and implementation science.”

Farley, along with all 2026 APhA award recipients, will be recognized at the APhA Annual Meeting in March 2026.
