Annual conference teaches OT students about educational technology

At the annual Closing the Gap Conference, occupational therapy students joined 1,200 other individuals from across the country to learn more about educational technology. Students were accompanied by Dr. Leann Shore, assistant professor, who has attended for ten years.

In turn, the Hagen Family has supported OT student learning by ensuring we have access to no-cost learning opportunities. This includes an exhibit expo, which attracts vendors of assistive devices for all life skills, worldwide. This immersive learning experience offers hands-on learning, opportunities for networking, and practical application of assistive technology. Students love this experience and have recommended attendance for 10+ years."
