Venkatram Mereddy Receives Outstanding Graduate Faculty Advisor Award

MINNEAPOLIS/MINNESOTA — Venkatram Mereddy, professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences, will receive the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Outstanding Graduate Faculty Advisor Award. He was recognized for his outstanding advising and exemplary work with graduate students in the Integrated Biological Sciences graduate program.

"This is a great honor," said Mereddy. "Spending time with students and motivating them to do their best to reach career goals is the most enjoyable part of any faculty member's job. Many thanks to the committee for selecting me for this honor."

Mereddy will be honored at an all-campus award ceremony on April 24 at UMD.
