Todd Sorensen Named Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives & Innovations
Todd Sorensen, PharmD, has been named Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives & Innovations position, effective July 1.
In this role, Sorensen will provide leadership and oversight of the college’s strategic initiatives based on our strategic plan, and collaboratively foster innovation in all mission areas based on college priorities. He will serve as an advocate for the college’s strategic initiatives and new programs with internal and external stakeholders. He will also facilitate the development of corporate, healthcare and community partnerships that enhance our strategic initiatives and foster innovation that enriches the college and the profession, while supporting economic development.
An alum of our college, Sorensen has been on faculty since 1998. He currently serves as Associate Department Head of Pharmaceutical Care & Health Systems. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Integrated Medication Management, a national non-profit organization that supports widespread integration of team-based medication management services into the care of high-risk, high-cost patients suffering from multiple chronic health conditions.
