Sara Coulup Wins the Best Oral Presentation Award at MIKI 2018

Graduate student Sara Coulup receives a plaque at the 2018 MIKI meeting for winning the Best Oral Presentation Award

 
Congratulations to Sara Coulup, graduate student in the Georg lab, for winning the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 56th Annual MIKI Conference for her talk "Total Synthesis of Metabolically Stabilized Analogs of Pironetin." MIKI, also known as the Medicinal Chemistry Meeting-in-Miniature, takes place annually and rotates between the Universities of Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, and Illinois. It is attended by over 200 graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, faculty members, and alumni and is one of the most successful regional meetings in the field of medicinal chemistry. It took place this year at the University of Illinois at Chicago from April 6th-8th.
