Connor McDermott Receives Basic Equity and Diversity Certification

Congratulations to graduate student Connor McDermott of the Ambrose lab for completing the Equity and Diversity Certificate Program from the University's Office for Equity and Diversity. Certificate recipients must complete ten workshops that provide a theoretical framework for understanding equity and diversity, help participants develop skills, and provide direct experience working and communicating across differences. The certificate program is free for all current students, staff, and faculty at the University of Minnesota.
