Ann Philbrick Inducted into Academies of Excellence

Ann Philbrick, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, BCACP, associate professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Care & Health Systems, has been selected as an inductee into the Academy for Excellence in Clinical Practice.

Philbrick, also an associate professor in the University’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, is on the faculty of Woodwinds Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program and maintains her pharmacy practice at Bethesda Medicine Clinic.

Induction into the Academy for Excellence in Clinical Practice is the highest recognition of excellence in the practice or provision of health care clinical faculty. Those selected have demonstrated their ability to deliver the highest level of clinical care through innovative techniques as well as demonstrated the highest level of ethics and professionalism throughout their career.

Members of the Academies for Excellence are elected to lifetime membership in one of four academies: the Academy for Excellence in Health Research; the Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning; the Academy for Excellence in Clinical Practice; and the Academy for Excellence in Team Science.
