Office of Professional and External Relations
The Office of Professional and External Relations serves the College of Pharmacy, the University of Minnesota and the profession of pharmacy by building strong alumni and external support through communication, recognition and advocacy.
A pharmacy preceptors plays a central role in the Professional Experience Program. You serve as mentors and role models who demonstrate high standards of professionalism, show students how to apply classroom knowledge to daily practice, and evaluate student progress.
As a pharmacy mentor, you will help introduce pharmacy students to professional career opportunities, observations opportunities, provide students opportunities to develop one-on-one relationships with practicing pharmacy professionals and contribute to the profession.
The Pharmacy Alumni Society is a constituent society of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association and connects our alumni, students and friends in support of the University of Minnesota and each other by providing opportunities for alumni to interact with each other, students and faculty.
The Century Mortar Club inspires, motivates, and invests in pharmacy’s future. They are a dedicated group of alumni, pharmacists, and friends who are committed to enhancing the student experience by supporting a variety of activities, including the White Coat Ceremony.
