Summary
Akua is currently pursuing her PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Care & Health Systems. Akua received her PharmD degree from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy-Duluth with Leadership Emphasis in 2012 and her Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Concentration in Medication Therapy Management) from the University of Florida- Gainesville in 2017. Akua has experience in Tele-Pharmacy, Long term care, Inpatient and Out-Patient Pharmacy practice. Her research interest is implementation science within the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) – the influence of student’s experiences on their learning and practice. In Global Public Health, her interest is in knowledge application in solving public health issues around the world.
