Summary
As the pharmacist in the emergency department, I am the medication expert on the healthcare team. Together, we must think critically and communicate efficiently to care for our patients. We need to apply the best available evidence in making medication decisions. In my teaching, I strive to engage students in this process, encouraging them to build upon their knowledge becoming lifelong learners.
