Summary

Dr. Frail joined the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in 2013. She has a shared appointment with HealthPartners, where she primarily supports the expansion and evaluation of innovative roles of pharmacists at their outpatient pharmacies. Her interests include innovative community pharmacy practice models, medication safety in the ambulatory care setting, payment models and entrepreneurship, and the community pharmacist’s role in promoting public health.

PHARMACY ROLE: Medication therapy management services have been well-established at HealthPartners to provide team-based management to complex patients across the system in the clinic setting. In addition to existing medication therapy management services, HealthPartners has expanded the clinical activities provided by pharmacists working in their outpatient pharmacies.
