Summary
My research program focuses on the detection and treatment of multidrug-resistant (MDR) Gram-negative infections. The overall goal of our program is the translation of our laboratory findings to improve the use of antimicrobials for patients with resistant bacterial infections. Expertise from our laboratory can be applied on a continuum, from the pre-clinical antimicrobial development phases to post-marketing evaluation of patient outcomes after clinical treatment.
Expertise
- Pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics of antimicrobials
- Antimicrobial susceptibility testing
- Clinical outcomes of infections
- Rapid diagnostics for bacterial infections
