Alumni Supporting Our Students

New Giving Societies Will Offer Broader Acknowledgement of Donor Giving

Following the Century Mortar Club’s (CMC) shift in focus, the College of Pharmacy is poised to offer a new donor acknowledgement program: The Dean's Circle Giving Societies. The depth and breadth of generosity shown to the college each year extends to all aspects of our tripartite mission of education, research and practice development. The new Dean's Circle Giving Societies will acknowledge donors at all levels of giving, regardless of which area of impact a donor chooses to support. A future issue of “The Record” will include a detailed explanation of this exciting new acknowledgment program.

Importantly, know that all gifts, both recent and past, to the CMC are committed to the CMC's longstanding mission of serving students. Any funds on hand from past donations will be directed to support students. As a part of this transition, the University of Minnesota Foundation (UMF) will sunset the Century Mortar Club Fund, and future donations to support pharmacy students can be directed to the following funds at UMF:
