Dr. Navpreet Kaur, ‘21, was a 2021 recipient of the UMN President's Student Leadership and Service Awards recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding student leaders at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Bill Diers, who received his master’s degree in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in 1980 and was a tremendous friend and advocate of the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, died on Saturday, May 22. Bill, 74, was a truly distinguished pharmacist. Throughout his 50-year career in pharmacy and hospital management he advocated for patient-centered healthcare, was a leader in numerous board organizations, and mentor to students and colleagues alike.So many within the College of Pharmacy community count themselves lucky enough to have been recipients of Bill’s kindness and friendship. We will miss him very much.
