Tim Stratton Receives Weaver Medal
Tim Stratton, professor and senior associate to the dean for assessment and accreditation, is this year’s recipient of the distinguished Lawrence and Delores Weaver Medal. He was recognized for providing outstanding and sustained contributions to the college and its students, communities in Greater Minnesota and underserved populations.
His nominator wrote, “What makes Dr. Stratton an amazing mentor is his willingness to give of his time, knowledge and resources to help students become the best patient care providers they can be. His legacy of teaching, research and service will
remain far-reaching. Dr. Stratton has demonstrated that great accomplishments can be made by being vocal about the causes that an individual finds passion for, whether this is by serving the underserved or demanding high attainment standards for the profession, be it pharmacy students, graduate students, current pharmacists or academic professionals.”
The Weaver Medal is given annually to someone who supports the college and its students through service to education, the profession, research and the community.
