Advising

Several outstanding faculty serve as program counselors and planners. Current lists of faculty advising for our program (both the SAPh and ECP tracks) are available. Entering graduate students expressing a choice of major advisors or area will be permitted to make such a choice. Those students not having a preference will be assigned an advisor in accordance with faculty load. In either case, the student shall have one calendar year in which to choose a permanent advisor to supervise the selected program of coursework and their research. The student's advisor must approve the student's proposed program and register the student each semester.
