Goodrich Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy that has been serving patient’s for over 100 years. Currently, there are five locations located throughout the Anoka County area. Goodrich has many collaborative practice agreements with local physicians and provides MTM and immunizations. Goodrich focuses on patients’ needs and provides many patient care services. At Goodrich the patients always comes first.
Pharmacy Services:
Adult immunization, Asthma Management, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Cholesterol Screening, Diabetes Management, Medication Therapy Management, Smoking Cessation, Veterinary Compounding, Specialty Compounding.
Resident’s Educational Experience:
Aside from the learning agenda set by the University, the resident will provide clinical services to Goodrich patients and will work with MTM patients, manage flu clinics, work with student pharmacists and work as a clinical pharmacist at the local clinic. They will design, market, and manage a Health and Wellness program provided by Goodrich. There will be journal clubs and one-on-one time with a pharmacist on topics of the resident’s choice. They will learn about durable medical equipment. Management and leadership skills will be addressed through working on different tasks and involvement in leadership initiatives.
Site Coordinator:
Stacy Ann Seber, Pharm.D. Stacy Steber is a 2001 graduate of the University of St. Thomas and a 2005 graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy. She completed an ambulatory care residency at the University of Minnesota and has been practicing as a clinical/community pharmacist at Goodrich for 2 years. She is actively involved with MTM, immunizations, teaching student pharmacist, and clinical pharmacy. She works with patients on disease –state management and provides tobacco cessation to individuals and groups. She is a member of the Minnesota Pharmacists Association. She works to expand the clinical scope of practice for pharmacists and improve patientwellness.
Additional Preceptors:
Steve Simenson, current president and managing partner of Goodrich Pharmacies. Steve has cared for patients since 1977. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy with his spouse Wendy who also is an active Community Pharmacist. He participates daily in innovative practice initiatives. He is involved in project IMPACT, practice based research, medication therapy management, collaborative practice, employer health and wellness services and compounding. He and his staff are adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota, providing mentorship, clerkships and a soon to be accredited Community Pharmacy Residency. He is on the city of Ramsey Charter Commission Board and an active member of the Anoka Rotary Club. He is past-president of the Minnesota Pharmacists Association and was elected in 2005 to a 3 year term on the APHA Board of Trustees. He is currently president of the Minnesota Pharmacists Foundation, MnCare Pharmacists (providing community based clerkship sites), secretary and treasurer of the Pharmacy Network of Minnesota (a 300 member pharmacy care network). Awards include Minnesota Community Pharmacy Preceptor of the year and Bowl of Hygeia Award, Harold R. Popp Award, University of Minnesota Distinguished Alumni Award, Merck Pharmacy Leadership Award and the NCPA Community Pharmacy Leadership Award. He and Wendy received the Weaver Medal from the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy December 15, 2006. He’s been recognized by his peers as a Fellow of the American Pharmacists Association, Fellow of the American College of Apothecaries and the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists. Steve is a member of APhA, NCPA, National Academies of Practice, ACA and ACVP. Steve is at his best when he is helping patients.
