We are pleased to announce the Burroughs Wellcome Fund: Career  Awards at the Scientific Interface, for which you may have a candidate you wish to nominate. Since the University is limited to up to four nominees there will be an internal competition to determine those who will move forward.

This award program was created to provide funding for postdoctoral scientists with backgrounds in the physical/computational sciences whose work addresses biological questions and who are dedicated to pursuing a career in academic research. This award provides up to $500,000 in support over five  years to bridge advanced postdoctoral training and the first three years of a faculty appointment.
