Counseling and Student Assistance

The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy goes to great lengths to ensure that its students are able to complete the Pharm.D. program in as little time as possible. In recent years, 99% of its students have graduated, and 95% have completed the degree in four years. There are multiple resources on the UMD campus that can help students with many obstacles, such as:

Counseling Services
Individual personal counseling provided by a staff of professional counselors, psychologists, and supervised professionals-in-training. Also offers group counseling/support groups, anonymous on-line depression screening, and links to information.

Health Services
UMD Health Services provides out-patient medical care and health education. These services are supported by a portion of the Student Services fee. Office visits are free.
