Institution Spooner Health System is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in northwest Wisconsin. Attached is a 90-bed skilled nursing long-term care facility and SMDC-Spooner outpatient clinic.

Pharmacy Services Spooner Health System currently employs 2 pharmacists and 4 pharmacy technicians. Pharmacists are actively involved in formulary review through P & T committee meetings. Pharmacists screen orders with particular attention to renal dosing of all medications. Pharmacists are also responsible for monthly consulting/ chart review for the long-term care facility.
Resources Students are provided with a workstation with computer. Breakfast and lunch are served daily in the hospital cafeteria.
