Duluth Region

Duluth Moon

The Duluth/Iron Range Hub includes areas from the Arrowhead regions of Minnesota from Mora to Grand Marais and over to the Iron Range and Grand Rapids areas of Minnesota. Each community in this area is unique in its culture and history.

The spring and summers offer recreation opportunities in the many lakes that include kayaking, fishing, boating, and waterskiing. The area offers many golf courses, hiking and biking trails along with marathons and in-line skating marathons. Many of the rural communities offer summer celebrations and community events such as the famous “Blueberry Arts Festival” in Ely during July. Fall is rich in hunting in this area with moose, bear, deer, grouse, pheasant and other small game. The winters offer skating along with groomed trails for downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, dogsledding, and snowmobiling.
