The Journal of Medicinal Chemistry Recognized as Top 100

The Biomedical and Life Sciences Division (DBIO) of the Special Libraries Association has recognized the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry as one of the 100 most influential journals in the last 100 years in Medicine and Biology.

The award, delivered in conjunction with the centennial of the DBIO, is the result of polls compiled by the 680-plus DBIO members and three panels of experts.

Professor Philip Portoghese, Ph.D., has served as the editor in chief of the journal for over 35 years.  The journal is housed in the University of Minnesota’s College of Pharmacy, Department of Medicinal Chemistry.
