Seminar Lectures

Seminar Lecture Schedule

The Medicinal Chemistry Seminar Lecture is considered a central component of the educational experience that we provide to our graduate students.

  • Students have the opportunity to develop their oral presentation skills.
  • Students hear some of the top academic and industrial scientists in the country present their research.
  • Students receive 10-12 seminars each semester.

Special Guest Lectures are given each year in our Seminar Program. The Ole Gisvold Lecture and Taito O. Soine Lecture alternate every year.

Journal Club-Summer

Summer fun happens each week as students meet informally with postdoctorals and faculty to discuss selected papers from the literature.  "Ethics" "The Responsible Conduct of Research" "Chemical Waste Management" "Laboratory Safety" are all discussed during the summer.
