The Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology graduate program at the University of Minnesota is an innovative interdisciplinary program that trains students to conduct research encompassing methodology from basic and clinical pharmacology perspectives.

The ECP graduate program was designed specifically for students interested in clinical research with the goal to advance the science of human pharmacology and therapeutics to improve the safe, effective and economical use of drugs by patients. Students study such topics as experimental pharmacotherapy, drug metabolism, infectious disease, pharmacometrics and pharmacogenomics. Graduates are prepared for distinguished careers in clinical research.
