The Lawrence C. and Delores Weaver Medal

Distinguished Contributions to Pharmacy Education, Research or Outreach

This annual award given by the College of Pharmacy recognizes individuals for providing sustained and distinguished support of the College or for an outstanding contribution to pharmacy education, research or outreach in Minnesota. Contributions can be in all or any single area recognized by the award. The first award was presented in 1996 to Dean Emeritus Lawrence C. Weaver and his wife Delores M. Weaver. Other recipients include: Frank E. DiGangi, 1997; Arnold Delger, 1998; Cherie Perlmutter, 1999; Robert J. Cipolle, 2000; James C. Cloyd, Hugh F. Kabat, Philip S. Portoghese & Ronald Sawchuk, 2001; Lowell J. Anderson, 2002; Julie K. Johnson, Darwin Zaske (posthumously), 2003; Henry J. Mann, 2004; Yusuf Abul-Hajj, 2005; and Steve & Wendy Simenson, 2006; and S. Bruce Benson, 2007 (pictured right).
