The Epilepsy Research and Education Program focuses on Clinical Pharmacology, Epilepsy Care, Epidemiology and Economics.

The mission of the program is to generate, disseminate and apply knowledge about the causes, epidemiology, management and treatment of epilepsy and related seizure disorders. The program will emphasize research on antiepileptic drug clinical pharmacology, epidemiology and economics, practice models and outcomes including epilepsy surgery. The program will focus on the vulnerable populations such as children and the elderly.

Faculty within the EREP use a multidisciplinary approach to educate health professionals and others about epilepsy. The group offers a variety of programs ranging from single lectures to multi-day traineeships.
